Project Summary

The idea is to develop an application for the help of psychiatrist, providing the answers of a list of questions in the initial report identifying the level of anxiety or depression so that the psychiatrist can have a look and provide medication to the patients. It will be easy to use for doctors and non-technical people. 

The most important part of this system is that the patient will be signing up themselve on the Application and won’t be in the queue for the appointment. Patient will sign up and the initial state question/answers will be done for the patient. All these questions will be related to the depression as psychologist does. The patient will go through all those questions and after that an initial report will be generated which will show us the symptoms of depression. After the initial state is over, the patient will proceed to the next phase which will deeply analyze him via video interview. Patient will again go through the questions which are related to depression but in this phase the patient will be deeply analyzed by our system via checking his facial expressions, gestures , voice patterns and mood while answering the related questions with the help of CNN deep learning. After this phase is completed a proper report will be generated which will identify and inform the patient the symptoms of depression. The report will then be forwarded to the psychologist and then medication will be done accordingly by going through it.

Project Implementation Method

Iterative Process:
Project will be implemented in iterative way. This implementation steps can be repeatable. Implementation method phases are below.

Planning & Requirements:

Research on automated depression and anxiety evaluation. Meeting with psychologist and supervisors for the possibility of the work. Planning for the requirements and setting the functional and non functional requirements and analyzing the SRS document with the help of Supervisors and Psychologist.
 
Analysis & Design:

Once planning is complete, an analysis is performed to nail down the appropriate business logic, basic evaluation models, detailed evaluation CNN model and the like that will be required at this stage in the project. The design stage also occurs here, establishing technical requirements (python libararies , data extraction, services, etc.) that will be utilized in order to meet the needs of the analysis stage.
 
Implementation:

First the models are implemented on the extracted data for basic evaluation whihc Naive Bayes Algorithm and accuracy is tested if the result is not accurate then we will change the algorithm or change the features for depression.

CNN is trained on the videos provided by clinical psychologist and accuracy is tested, then these model are integrated on the desktop application.
 
Testing:

Once this current build iteration has been coded and implemented, the next step is to go through a series of testing procedures to identify and locate any potential bugs or issues that have cropped up.
 
Evaluation:

Once all prior stages have been completed, it is time for a thorough evaluation of development up to this stage. Testing is done with the help of psychologists.
 
Follow-up phase:

Now the most recently built iteration of the software, as well as all feedback from the evaluation process, is brought back to the planning, development stage at the top of the list, and the process repeats itself all over again.
