IOT based water quality assurance system is based upon testing the water quality for drinking purpose. As drinking water varies from place to place, depending on the condition of the source water from which it is drawn and the treatment it receives, but it must meet EPA (Environment Protection Agency) regulation. The traditional method of testing Turbidity, pH and Temperature is to collect samples manually and then send them to a laboratory for analysis which takes more time to get the results. However, it has been unable to meet the demands of water quality monitoring today. So a set of Monitoring of Turbidity, pH and Temperature of water quality will be developed. Our contribution will be if the water quality is abnormal, the data will be sent to the monitoring center and alert the survey staff at the same time. It is convenient for management to take corresponding measures timely and be able to detect the real-time situation of water quality remotely.

The methodology of the proposed system (See Figure) will have different aspects in which the work is to be done.

We will develop and design a low-cost water quality monitoring system that can monitor water quality in real time using IoT and android. Introducing a system that will check the quality of water and will send notification through GSM to the water quality analyzer or department of water purification. It will analyze and notify the various water quality parameters such as pH, turbidity and temperature.
If multiple these devices are installed at differnet places will help in monitoring water quality at these places easily.
Overview:
IOT based water quality assurance system will be an advanced water quality monitoring system. As the laboratory water testing is based upon collecting the samples of water from areas for which water quality is to be analyzed, the three-step testing is performed physical properties, chemical properties, and biological properties testing of water. The traditional laboratories method of water quality assurance having problems of complicated methodology, long waiting time for results and sometimes in-accuracy. With the frequent passage of time, more advancement is being made. New technologies are introduced to minimize the disadvantage of lots of time consumption.
