Project Summary

We are our opening our first virtual shopping mart for which we are developing an android application by considering current circumstances of COVID 19 so the supermarket will be less crowded and SOPs will be maintained. When customer enters in our shopping center he/she will start application, first customer will have to signup/login, then scan QR code/barcode of the required product, then product will be added to customer's cart if it exists jn the datadabe. customer can scan as many product as he/she wants and after shopping customer can place order. The application will generate token number which will be helpful in collecting ordered items.  Customer has the choices to collect items at the exit or receive items at their home. Our application will have different interfaces for customers and administration. Administration will deal with databaes of customer and products.We will generate QR code of our own products.

Project Objectives

As per the current situation, it is visible that SOPs cannot be completely followed in Super Marts and Shopping centers. As many people don’t like online shopping because they are afraid of receiving unfresh items specially spoiled fruits and vegetables so we are proposing an idea of virtual shopping at our shopping Mart. We are developing an android native application in which u just have to scan item u like and that item will be included in your shopping cart. You no longer have to carry items along with you in the super mart and the best thing is you don’t have to stand and wait in long queues at the counter to pay your bill which is big cause of spreading corona. With our app you can add as many items in the cart as you like and just place order and collect it at the exit or at your home.       

Project Implementation Method

we are developing an android application(React) , this application has two interfaces one is for Administration and other is for customer. When customer enters in our shopping center he/she will start application, first customer will have to signup/login, then scan QR code/barcode of the required product, then product will be added to customer's cart if it exists jn the datadabe. customer can scan as many product as he/she wants and after shopping customer can place order. The application will generate token number which will be helpful in collecting ordered items.  Customer has the choices to collect items at the exit or receive items at their doorsteps. Customer can check its previous history details and graph.Our application will have different interfaces for customers and administration. Administration will deal with databaes of customer and products.Admin can check sales record and purchases records. We will generate QR code of our own products.
