In this project we will be doing power sharing between hybrid renewable energy resources. DC micro grids look attractive in distribution systems due to their high reliability, high efficiency, and easy integration with renewable energy sourcesmicro grids look attractive in distribution systems due to their high reliability, high efficiency, and easy integration with renewable energy sources. The power management strategy is modeled to manage the power flow of the energy systems and battery to fulfill the load demand.
The key objectives of the DC micro grid include proportional load sharing and precise voltage regulation. Due to the fact that solar and wind power is intermittent and unpredictable in nature, higher penetration of their types in existing power system could cause and create high technical challenges especially to weak grids or stand-alone systems without proper and enough storage capacity. By integrating the two renewable resources into an optimum combination, the impact of the variable nature of solar and wind resources can be partially resolved and the overall system becomes more reliable and economical to run. Voltage and frequency fluctuation, and harmonics are major power quality issues for both grid-connected and stand-alone systems with bigger impact in case of weak grid. This can be resolved to a large extent by having proper design, advanced fast response control facilities, and good optimization of the hybrid systems.
We will be using
Solar panel will be working on technique of MPPT and CCCV technique will be used to charge the battery. Inverters and converters are used so that power can be in same form from both sides. Then after the energy conversion that electricity will flows toward load. Battery will be used as a backup plan.
We are using 2 resources so that we can compensate the load.
