. The oil and gas reserves are depleting day by day globally. The future of green energy is Hybrid power system. Now a day’s Pakistan is facing severe energy crisis and also Pakistan is facing serious climatic issues. Pakistan is one of the most practicable countries for the implementation of renewable energy due to its geographical location as the sun shines the most in our country. Thus by keeping in mind various problems and opportunities, our project demonstrates the implementation of a hybrid power system with net metering that will also help the consumers to save the money and make the environment green.
Hybrid Power System has two or more energy sources to supply greater power with greater efficiency and provide stability in the power supply. This type of system is dependable because when one system fails to provide power the other comes into the action. In this way we can use several power sources to increase the performance level and give continuous supply of power. Hybrid Power System has become popular in domestic level and also in commercial level as well. In our project, solar power system and electric grid are being hybridized in order to produce electricity to fulfill the demand with high reliability.
Design of a MPPT, Design of Buck-Boost, Providing uninterrupted power supply , Providing cost efficent electricity, Understanding the basic concepts of renewable energy.
First of all, we worked on the literature review, after that we prepared a block diagram on how we are going to work on our project, We first worked on the software, after designing the software part, we moved on to the hardware part.

We have used a 50W solar panel which is converting the energy from sun into DC voltage and charging the battery, Also the excess power is going back into the grid which is helping in reducing the overall cost of electricity, The power to loads is being supplied from Wapda and if there is any breakdown, the system switches to the power supplied from the sun.
