There is need of automation of Stamp duty collection in board of revenue Sindh, because they are collecting stamp duty manually. Collecting the stamp duty manually is very difficult task, and verification of stamp paper is also a difficult task, that’s why we are designing a online web application based on automation of stamp paper. We facilitate the public to generate challan 32-A online by own according to their deed type, and also, we facilitate the user to verify him/her Stamp paper online, the automation of collecting stamp duty for different public transactions is very significant step in this direction. There are two types of stamps: Judicial and Non-Judicial. Judicial Stamps are used in relation to the administration of justice in courts and non-Judicial Stamps are used on documents related to the transfer of property, commercial agreements etc.

Project Objectives

The main aim of the project is to replace paper-based process and stop fraudulent practices leakage of government revenues, and store information in electronic form and build a central database to make ease of the verification process.

There will be no more multiple visits of the citizen to pay the stamp duty; in new system the electronic stamp papers will be issued through any designated branch of a schedule bank.

The value of stamp duty will be calculated on the basis of data provided by the citizen (area of the land, location, covered area, commercial / residential etc.) and DC valuation tables built into the system. The names of the buyer, seller and the person by whom stamps papers are being purchased will be fed into the system along with their CNIC.

Project Implementation Method

The manual job is to be generated automatically and the lots of time wil be saved. 

A challan will be generated and that challan will be verified through the web system. if there are the mistakes tehn all of the mistakes are rectified and another challan is generated. 

After the challan is priented then the deed is formed which has been already stored in a system through coding and intelligent algorithms. 

Benefits of the Project

Board of Revenue of Sindh government is working on manual system and many types of documents are verified manually and the stamp duty is collected manually. The collection and verification is a tedious job, in this regard there is a need of an automated system in which deeds or documents would be generated automatically by giving input of numbers and addresses and the collection of stamp duty will be done automatically.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Stamp duty collected under SINDH ACT NO. XII OF 2019 Stamp duty is varying on every budget year, and every time they have to calculate the stamp duty on updated stamp Act giving by the government and there are 45 deed types and the additional deeds which have different duty based on valuation table and some are fixed deed types, which means fix stamp duty. The sysem will be developed as a web application based on ASP.net and SQL Server and then it will be converted to other plateforms such as smart phones.
