Our motivation is to accommodate as many patients as possible while staying at home. Lower the cost. Inform local authorities about places where diseases are emerging. Discovering new disease. COVID-19 has put an immense burden on health care infrastructure all over the world.
We are doing disease prediction using Machine Learning for referring doctors to a patient for online consultation. We will be making a complete expert system for predicting disease so that no wrong disease could be predicted to the patients. The second thing we are doing, showing clusters of diseases on a google map which will help the world to discover any new incoming disease like COVID-19 and also showing all other diseases on the map:
We have devised a solution to one of the most pressing health care problem the world is currently facing. COVID-19 has put an immense burden on health care infrastructure all over the world due to which patients of other diseases are finding it difficult to get proper attention.
Disease Prediction
We have created a platform to assist such patients so that they will be entering their symptoms and our model will predict a disease according to the given symptoms and providing online consultation with specialized doctors. It can also be able to discover any new disease.
Discover New Disease
Our system behaves like an expert system as in whenever symptoms which are not associated with a disease in our dataset arrives, a team of doctors examine those symptoms and predict the disease. If that disease isn’t known and is unique in its symptoms, then it is passed on to the competent authorities for monitoring.
Live Call and Prescription
Our system will be showing relevant doctors according to the predicted disease. A patient can book an appointment and after the appointment, the doctor will be able to prescribe medicine to the patient. In prescription, the doctor can easily enter disease, medicine, medicine quantity and how many days’ patient needed to use.
We will also be showing patient history which will help the doctor to know which diseases and which medicines the patient is already using.
Area of Disease
We are also showing the area of diseases on the google map.
We will implement this project by following standard development methodology of Rational Unified Process (RUP) defined by IBM, which has four constituent phases Inception, Elaboration, Construction and Transition. Similarly, This development methodology has a technical workflow that includes:
Disease Prediction
In our project for we are using a dataset of diseases and their symptoms from Kaggle and for predicting a disease for the patient we are using machine learning, a supervised RandomForest model. We are dividing training and test data at 70 and 30 percent.
Our system will be an expert system; if any patient enters the symptoms and our model could not be able to predict then those symptoms will send to the team of specialized doctors and they will be deciding which disease that patient has and those symptoms will disease will be adding to our dataset.

Doctor and Patient
Our project is a web-based software which will be very beneficial and cheap for both doctors and patients. COVID-19 has put an immense burden on health care infrastructure all over the world due to which patients of other diseases are finding it difficult to get proper attention. Thus we have created a platform to assist such patients.
A doctor can easily set their free slots in a week so that patient can book an appointment only in those slots.
Local Government & Pharmaceutical Companies
Our project can inform local government and pharmaceutical companies if any disease will be spreading very rapidly in any specified area.
To Discover New Disease
This project will be helping to discover any new type of disease is emerging in any area. As we are aware of the unpredictability of COVID-19 in its earlier stage. The virus of this magnitude was unable to be controlled throughout the globe because the health care system can not predict even the symptoms of this virus that delayed the process of inventing the vaccines for the virus that result in a disastrous way. Our project will identify the symptoms of any new kind of the situation like the COVID-19 if anything happens in the future. On a local level, it will compare the new disease with the before identify if the solution for the situation exits if not it will alarm the authorities to take the necessary precautions.
Our project is a web-based in which we are providing these facilities 'Disease Prediction', 'Online Consultation', ‘Discovering New Disease’ and showing 'area of disease'.
