Smart pet care system (SPCS) is design and implementation of a bird cage with the capability of providing food, clean environment and remote monitoring of the birds even if the owner of the pet is away from the cage. For the purpose of maintaining cleanliness in the cage conveyor belt based excrement cleaner will be designed, which will be periodically cleaned. The timely replacement of the excrement box will be ensured through a sensor based system sending an alarm signal on an android application. Similarly, a sensor based system will monitor the food level and will automatically refill the food chambers. Android application will also assist in the management of food. A camera will also be installed in the cage which will assist the pet keeper to view the pets remotely. This work can also be utilized by the Veterinary hospitals for monitoring the sick animals on large scale.

Project Objectives

Make owners life much easier and tention less regarding to their pets. Now they don't need to worry about their pets health or its feeding issue nor about cleaning of the cage.Now everything should be done automatically.They don't have to bother about the temperature beacuse we are going to make  system which maintains the temperature inside the cage.

Project Implementation Method

There will be four phases in which we are going to complete our project. These four phases are:

1) Definition

2) Planning

3) Execution

4) Termination

Definition:

               In this phase we are going to set our goals and objectives

Planning:

                In this phase we are going to plan that what type of material is going to used in this project. We will decide the components which will use in the project. We will also set the time frame in which we have to complete our project with the help of Gantt Chart.

Execution:

                  In this phase we procure material for the project. We will also make sure that the project will be done in the  time frame which we sets for this project.

Termination:

                   This is the last phase where we make our project in working. We also make it error less and make it upto the mark where we sets our goals and objectives.  

Benefits of the Project

It will provide ease to the pet owner. whenever he needs to check his pet he just simply use mobile application in his cell phone and open live streaming option in it and then monitor his pet. He has the advantage of doing cleaning and feeding manually through android application.Smart Pet Care System can also be utilized by the Veterinary hospitals for monitoring the sick animals on large scale.This thing enhance its advantages on broader scale.
