Project ObjectivesThe main objective is to design and implement a low cost wireless smart home system.The system will be developed to enable controlling lights via mobile app.The system will also use RF sensors to turn off lights when no one is in the room.The temperature and air quality will be continuously monitored.in case of fire or smoke an alarm would turn on.A smart car parking system for the home will also b developed
Project Implementation MethodIt consists of two parts software implementation and hardware implementaion.
1.In software implementation we design our project circuit on the proteus amd check the running status.before hardware implementation its a check upon the components.in software implemantation we have made a circuit with arduino to control the load of the home.Different sensors like fire sensor,ultrasonic sensor,IR sensor ,rain sensor ,air quality sensor are used for the comfort.
hardware implementation consists of collecting all the desired components for the project and to calibrate them and connect them physicaly also to check and test final deliverbels ,results of project and to get prepared for the final presentation method
Benefits of the Projectwe proposed a flexible, low cost smart home system based on Internet and WiFi. We come up with the concept of Smart Units and Home Proxy. The combinatio of remote server and home proxy is a new scheme for remote control in which XMPP is used. Low cost WiFi module is used to make smart units. Relative apps based on different platforms can be developed and android app is used to demonstrate the system. Also one phone can register different Home proxies, thus one phone can control more than one smart home system or smart office system.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableIt aims at helping people manage the home appliance freely and build an autonomous environment in home or work area. We are designing a smart home with the implementation of related software and hardware.People can use Android to control and monitor the home appliances both locally and remotely.Different sensors are being used for security purpose and comfort.A smart parking is also developed.
