Server virtulization is a virtulization technique that involves partitioning a physical server into a number of small, virtual server with the help of virtulization software. In server virtulization each virtual server runs multiple operating system instances at the same time. The main target of making this project is to minimize the sapce that physical server occupies, the consumption of power, the tools that make these servers cool down and the cost of individual server.

Project Objectives

Server virtualization attempts to increase resource utilization by partitioning physical servers into several multiple virtual servers, each running its own operating system and applications. It allows organizations to cut down on the necessary number of servers, saving money and reducing the hardware footprints involved in keeping a host of physical servers. Server virtualization also allows for much more efficient use of IT resources.

Project Implementation Method

FTP, Domain server installing. Xen server is most costly so it is not used, just have concept of server.

Benefits of the Project

It minimizes the area occupied, cost of tools that makes it cool down and power consumption.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

FTPP, domain server is used, xen is not used because it is vcostly.
