The module that is used for speed detection is OPS-241 and the transceiver that is used for this purpose is a Macom Transceiver.

Project Implementation Method

Raspberry pi is the main processing unit required to interface it with the displaying and speed detecting unit. To interface with other units a python code is required which acquire processed detected speed from OPS-241 in the desired unit and frequency and show that result on the P-10 LED matrix through GPIO pins. As GPIO pins provide 3.3 volt but LED matrix work on 5 volts so we required a voltage level shifter that amplify 3.3V to 5V.
