Smart door locking system is designed to address the problems of unauthorized access, trespassing and intrusion. Banks, corporate offices, financial organization, jewelry shops, and government organization are some of the common targets where unauthorized access, trespassing and intrusion take place. Normally the motives behind such activities are stealing money, jewels or any classified documents for financial gain. This project will concentrate at the Android application in order to unlock the door.
This project will provide a system for door lock system. Its objectives are:
Selecting a methodology is very sensitive to choose as your whole project based on it. The methodology must be selected according to your project like if you are making a software which in future doesn’t need any change you can choose Waterfall model, but in our project case we are using Iterative development using waterfall. The purpose of working iteratively is to allow more flexibility for changes there can be unforeseen changes that don’t occur until development begins. By working iteratively project team goes through a cycle where they can evaluate each iteration and determine what changes will be necessary.
Waterfall iterative is a design methodology that is iterative process. This model includes requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance. Every step contains iterative process. Because of large numbers of tasks involved in our project, an iterative model will be right choice to deal with the risks and make a good quality product.
Users :
Normal Mode:
In this mode a single user can login and use the system. User can login using the digit registered PIN. User can lock or unlock the door with the password. User can recover the password if forgot the password, using registered email address. User can reset the PIN.
Multiuser Mode:
This mode is useful when more than one user is authorized to operate lock. Individual user can login using the 4-digit registered PIN. User can lock or unlock the door with their individual password. Individual user can recover the password if forgot the password, using registered email address. Individual user can reset the PIN.
Multilevel Mode:
This mode is useful when the locking and unlocking operation has to be controlled/ authorized by multi users. Such system is useful in Banks locker or safe vault, where the lock needs to be operated by a pair of keys (User and Bank Manager). In this mode two level of validation from two different users will be required for locking or unlocking the system. Individual user can login using the digit registered PIN. User can lock or unlock the door with their individual password. Individual user can recover the password if forgot the password, using registered email address.
The problem that are related to system security. So, we are developing a new product which will give the security to your system or workplace by using the traditional concepts and new development technology. This product is providing a platform which give ease to every user that is authorized related to the security of the system. The purpose of Smart door locking system is to provide a smart solution to overcome these challenges and provide a feasible solution. The project is implemented using Android and Arduino Uno with the use of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi technology.
The main reason of this project is to develop security of door lock system where the owner of home, apartment or building can manage the door lock that activated automatically and unlock the door that activated by smartphone using WiFi technology. The door is automatically lock when the magnetic switch become closed to each other.
The wireless network device and the microcontroller will be place inside the home, apartment or building which is placed at the door. The system will be managed through the application in the smartphone to unlock the door and lock the door automatically
