According to the Pakistan Tanners Association Annual Report (2020-21), foreign shipments of leather and leather products from Pakistan increased by 8.86% from $765.35 million in the fiscal year 2019-20 to $833.19 million in the fiscal year 2020-21.
But in this era of technologies, most of the Tannery industries in Sialkot are managing their records manually to save their departmental and managerial tasks. It is a barrier in their way to shift to the next level because of not adopting new technologies. Making monthly/annual reports, managing inventory, saving employees' daily contract work, and managing salaries is a difficult tasks for these industries. A huge amount of time is being spent on these the above-mentioned tasks.
In this project, an ERP (Web App) system is designed for a Tannery industry (Rubbani Brothers) to shift their manual work to a Cloud-based software (infrastructure). By using this web-based software they can handle and save their records easily. This Web Application (ERP System) contains different types of modules Like Human Resource Management (Attendance system, Employees management, Financial Reports), Inventory and General store Management (Stock Ledger), and Production Management (Leather Information, Dye Crust management, Stock Adjustment). Through this project web-based ERP System, the system user/CEO/manager, who has the system access, can also check the daily work and reports any time at any place through the internet.
Project ObjectivesThe main objective of our project is to facilitate the leather industry in handling its managerial tasks in an effective and efficient manner. Improving the accuracy rate of results, increasing the flexibility of operation, and improving productivity are the other core objective of this project. Automation of managerial work and enhancing the operational efficiency of business resources are the key points through overall this project.

This project will be based on a Web ERP Application (Enterprise Resource Planning).
In creating this project the major soft tools are mentioned below:

Django web framework
Rest framework
SQL Database
Hosting
Domain
For making the user interface, React js, which is a JavaScript library, will be used to design the whole frontend for the user.
Django, which is a python framework, will be used for creating the backend and will be connected with the SQL database.
Rest Framework will create the API for data transferring between Frontend and backend.

Technical Details of Final DeliverableFinal Deliverable will be consists of both software and hardware system.
In Software System, we will deliver Web-based ERP software. React Js, Django framework of python, SQL database, Rest framework are the major tools that have been used in making this soft system.
React js will be used to design the user interface of web application and Django framework will be used for backend with SQL database. Rest framework will be used for making APIs so that both React js (Frontend) and Django (backend) can be connected.
In Hardware System, a fingerprint scanner, Barcode reader, and ESP32, and its related IOTs will be there to make this project done. This whole will create an IoT (Internet of Things) system also which will be connected to the database of the ERP system.
So the whole final deliverable will be in both software system and hardware system.
