This project aims to enable our businesses with latest e-commerce technologies. We would be making an online system that would have a database for storing customers data, sales, revenue and inventory data for each business. Customers and business owners would be provided with a dashboard to use the application. The application’s frontend will be built in Bootstrap and backend in PHP Laravel.

    Shopkeepers lack access to point of sale and e-commerce technologies. Our project aims at making an integrated platform for shops and businesses that would enable them to keep track of their sales, as well as to sell their products online.

Project Objectives

Our key objectives are as follows:

• To enable businesses to have an online e-commerce store for shops.
• To enable businesses keep track of their sales, and revenue.
• To enable customers to view products online.
• To enable customers order items from their homes.
• To enable customers to track their deliveries.
• To enable customers and businesses to communicate with each other.

Project Implementation Method

We are making our project using Laravel(PHP) for backend development, MySQL database for storing data, and for frontend, we are using Bootstrap. We are using phpMyAdmin, WampServer, and Sublime Text on Windows to make the project.

The administrator needs to register before they can have access to the core data of the shop.

The admin logs in and can view, add products, manage customers.

The Admin can make changes to the shop such as delete customers, add a customer or, upload new products.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

We are delivering a readymade website that would have two main parts. One is a dashboard for sellers and other parts for customers. Sellers would be provided with the options for updating and viewing the inventory, viewing their sales, managing their customers and their orders, and seeing the revenue. While the customers would be allowed to create and access their respective accounts. And account would give them access to that store. A user would be enabled to view their profile, make new orders, track the orders and contact support for any help.
