- Microcontroller, and the mobile application is based on java language and for the implementation Android Studio is used.
Thus, the project is designed and developed to accommodate the needs of the vehicle owner. It is a very useful and versatile device, and in fact it is able to be used by anybody with the need to keep track of their vehicle. The desired output from the system will be the data such as position, speed, and time obtained from the GPS receiver and will be displayed on the android applications.
Project ObjectivesThe main motive behind this project is to target market the people who cannot afford expensive packages of the tracker companies more over people are not comfortable of relying their vehicles on the tracking companies or either outsourcing it. After analyzing such major angles, the team/group had jotted down the idea of this system. The project is a complete programming of android application inter-linked with the hardware, in which all the features will be added, which includes, (Track, Lock, Unlock, Mic., Track History, Door Signal, No Go Areas).

- To get the door signals, in any case of theft activity or opened illegally
- Lock and Unlock the vehicle through the application
- Owner can listen the ongoing conversation, in case of security check plus theft activity
- To restrain the expensive packages, and to make it cheaper as compared to the market.
First of all, we are using “Agile development process”, which has been genially decided by the team after concerning with the supervisor. In Agile, we will be focusing on Scrum Methodology. Usage of agile methodologies can be of multiple reasons, since it’s based on rapid development process where the project is divided into sprints. Each sprint is processed in a fixed time interval where in each sprint whole SDLC (software development life cycle) is followed (i.e. planning, requirement analysis, design, code and testing). An agile project is tested very frequently after each sprint, which minimizes the risk of failures and there is clarity on future tasks only. Secondly, the project exists on two phases of implementation, one is hardware implementation and the other one is software implementation. The Software ppart is the Android Application that will be made on Visual Studio through Java Application.
Phase # 1:
In this phase, the group members planned the project, through which steps we can move towards the success. This includes all the documentation work was done, including the requirements and the equipment were gathered for the hardware. And then the written prototype was designed for the android application.
Phase # 2:
In this second phase, we reviewed all the documents and proof read it before our final presentation. After that the written prototype was approved by the supervisor, and then we started working on the circuit of the hardware, using Proteus software we designed and implemented the circuit.
Phase # 3:
After the completion of second phase, the configuration of GSM Module and GPS Module was done by programming on it, using C Language and Assembly language, also used the burner to configure the modules. After the configuration, the programming of android application will be done, considering the written prototype approved in phase # 1.
Phase # 4:
After completing all 3 phases before, in this fourth and the final phase, the complete programming of android application will be done in which all the features will be added, which includes, (Track, Lock, Unlock, Mic, Track History, Door Signal, No Go Areas). Once the application will be completed, the android application will be then linked with the hardware and the application will be registered on the Play Store, later on.

- User can track their vehicle instantly through the application.
- User can lock and unlock their vehicles while sitting in the house.
- User can listen the communication that is going on in the car (if the user wants to be vigilant about the driver or if the car is snatched or even stolen).
- History can be easily provided to the user through the application where the option is specific for it.
- The user can be notified and get ALERT! Through GSM module installed in the system which help the user to get aware if thief try to unlock the vehicle.

- Preparation: Choose SIM card, need to insert a GSM SIM card into the device
- Please insert SIM card before turning the device power switch to on; The SIM card need open the GPRS function; Please make sure SIM card with a full balance.
- Installation: The device is hidden type installation, we suggest the device installing by a professional institution.
- Please pay attention to the following points:The device has built-in GSM and GPS antenna, make sure the receive side upward and there is no metal shielding.
Recommended installation place:
- The hidden place on the board below the front windscreen
- The hidden place around former dashboard (nonmetal material for skin)
- The hidden place on the board below the back windscreen.
Notice: If the windscreen glued by metal thermal insulation layer or heating layer,
it will reduce the GPS receive signal and lead to GPS work disorder, then please
change the installation place.

Note: the three lights must be stable lighting represents device can work
normally. The device will turn into sleep mode with lights off after
around 3 minutes, it will wake up if make a call to devise number or
detect any vibration
