Metal Insert E Plane Rectangular Waveguide Filter
Project Area of Specialization Wearables and ImplantableProject SummaryMicrowave CIrcuits are implemented with the help of Transmission Lines and Waveguides. At low frequencies lumped Components i-e capcaitors, resistors, inductors are used but at high frequencies their effect is translated with the help of Distributed Components i-e Transmission Lines or Waveguide cavities. E plane filter is operated in TE10 mode with center frequency of 10 GHz and Bandwidth of 270 Mhz.
Project Objectives- Determination of Length of Cavities and meatal insert with the help of Parametric Sweep
- Coaxial to Waveguide Transition
- Mechanical Modelling
- Application ion Radar
- Parametric Sweep is Simulated in HFSS to find Appropiate S-parameters.
- Coaxial to waveguide Transition is designed
- Mechanical Modelling is done in Creo.
- Testing the Two port Network using Network Analyzer
- Comparison between Simulated and Actual results
Microwave Filters are used in Radar for receiving and Transmitting Electromagnetic waves at diatance.
