Remote Patient Monitoring arrangement empowers observation of patients outside of customary clinical settings (e.g. at home), which expands access to human services offices at bring down expenses.
The core objective of this project is to design and implementation of a smart health care band that uses sensors to track patient health, and use internet to inform the concerned doctor in case of any emergency. The systems help to reduce health care costs by reducing physician office visits, hospitalizations, and diagnostic testing procedure.
The system monitors patient pulse rate, temperature, blood oxygen level and blood pressure using different sensor. Then system transmits this data over the internet using Wi-Fi. The system is mounted at patient bedside and constantly transmits patient health data over the internet so that doctors can monitor multiple patients remotely and if any reading from the sensor reading exceed from its threshold value an alert message is send to the doctor so he can attend that patient urgently when needed.
If the readings from sensor are casual a doctor’s prescription is present on the cloud server for patient’s facility.
For disinfect the equipment and patient room that take too much time as well as risk of getting infected so in order to overcomes this problem we will use disinfectant spray.

During this COVID Pandemic, many individuals are dying because of erroneous and premature health information. This technology can instantly detect health problems by the use of sensors. All patient information from COVID is maintained in the cloud, which may further contribute to correct attention.
- This technology helps that people who are not visiting hospitals regularly.
- A single doctor checks multiple patients at a time.
- This system helps the Doctors to monitor the patients remotely and have less chances of getting infection.
- This system reduces the cost of take care of the patient.
- This system overcomes queues in the hospital.
The project is implemented in different phases.
Phase 1:We studied the literature regarding to our project.
Phase 2: We work on developing mobile app(Doctor/Patient Console).
Phase 3: We will work on sensor and develop smart healthcare band.
Phase 4:It is our last step to interconnect our hardware and software.
Phase 5:We will work on thesis writing.

- Due to COVID Pandemic, this system helps the Doctors to monitor the patients remotely without getting the risk of infection.
- This system allows us to save time as well as manpower.
- This system reduces the load of patients in hospitals.
- This system reduces the cost of take care of the patient.
- This system is dealing with remote monitoring of patient using telemetry method.
- All medical reports and prescription are IOT based so they can be analyze from remote area.
- This system reduces the travelling cost, diagnostic testing cost, hospitalization cost, ambulance cost so this approach of monitoring is very cost effective.
- The system has been developed in order to reduce queues in the hospital.
- This technology also helps that people who are not visiting hospitals regularly.
The final deliverable product of our project is smart health care band that is consist of sensors and a controller , sensors collect different physiological parameters of patient and pass it to controller at the same time it also shows the values on band screen . The Controller is also linked with cloud server, if there is any emergency an alert message is send to the doctor immediately. So that doctor quickly response that patient urgently through that IP address.
