A continuously variable transmission (CVT) is a transmission which can change

sleeplessly through an infinite number of effective gear ratios between maximum and minimum values.

Identification of gear analysis and ratio of speed and torque effects on the gear transmission.

We are using transmission assembly and single phase motor to operate the pulley. While also use tachometer to measure the rpm  and torsion meter to identify the torque.

Using the shifting mechanism.

This project is use as a training purpose and identification of automatic transmission.

Attached the moveable stand with universal caster and other relevant objects are also attached.

Aim:

  1. To  analysis the function of CVT.
  2. To Analyzing of speed and torque behavior.
  3. To Studying and suggesting and improvements of CVT functionality if applicable.
Project Implementation Method

The result of the project is the identification of automatic gear transmission . Analysis the rpm of the pulley through tachometer.

Measure the torque through the torsion meter.

This project is use for training and automatic transmission system analysis.

Benefits of the Project

In future it is use as a training purpose and more modifications through different sensors and programming for the analysis of automatic gear transmission.

Improvement of CVT functionality if applicable.
