As we all know that life become more busier day by day and everyone wants to make their daily life easier and comfortable. One of the most important and toughest job is to keep their home needs balanced. In order to save time, managing all the grocery needs is one of the problems everyone has in today’s era. In this work, we proposed a system avoid such struggles that are facing by everyone in daily basis. The services that we are going to provide:
Such as ordering and delivering the following deals.
- food Items,
- Health-related products,
- Dairy products,
- Medicines.
- Soft Drinks, Fruits and Vegetables etc.
Our aim is to develop a Mobile Application (GroceryHub) that will take orders related to shopping of grocery items (such as food Items, health-related products, dairy products, fruits and vegetables etc.). Our system will deliver the items to the doorstep every customer especially housewives and working women and all those who are facing transportation and remoteness problems. The system will facilitate everyone who wants to save their time and want to avoid rush on shopping malls, traffic and regularly going to retail shops for all their grocery needs. It will alleviate the need to wait in long lines or search from a store for a particular item.
Shoppers/customers can place order of products (Medicines, Food, Soft Drinks, Dairy products, Fruits and Vegetables etc.) with the comfort from their houses by a single click on their smart phones.
In this system, costumers will register themselves for entering the system, where they will see all categories of services provided by us. Then the user can select anything of their interest and place the order accordingly. Also the user can place the order by just putting the name or pictures of required products. After that, our serviceman will contact him/her and make sure the delivery. User can see order’s current status till the delivery arrives to its given address (home, office etc.)
Moreover, there will be a section for complaint, feedback and payment method.

Activities for the application development process are listed below as follows:
Pre-Development Survey:
In the initial stage, we will conduct ground survey regarding the need of developing Grocery hub application. We will gather the customer’s requirements that we use as an input to the proposed android application.
Android-Based app Development
- Setup environment for app development
- The registration page for User / Consumer
- Services
- Use of Google Map API’s
The team would develop an android application using Android Studio. The application would be delivered to the users with an interface that is tempting and user-friendly. It will deliver better services by connecting relevant people for the job and the end user. The system aims to result in a technological impact among the skillful Shopkeepers and the domestic users/Shoppers.
Prototype delivery (Via Marketing Personally)
Visiting personally to convince the Shops /Vendors to offer their services on this app. We will register all the Individuals who are willing to utilize our app.
Post-Survey
This survey will be conducted on the behalf of providing services to different customers that will provide their feedback in terms of negative, positive or neutral. Moreover, they can suggest extra features and services to the app. This survey will help us in extending the app with new features if needed.
