Project Area of Specialization Electrical/Electronic EngineeringProject SummaryMain objective is to integrate renewable energy to the utlity grid and the extra power so generated is to fed to the utility grid (reverse metering system). And also to synchronize frequency, phase and voltage to the corresponding grid.Our main challenge is to adopt different techniques such as multi harmonic decoupling cell-phase lock loop, second order generalized integrater and simple phase locked loop. The basic purpose is to reduce harmonics and increase the smoothness in the phase so synchronized. Testing is to be done on different inductive and resistive loads.Proper displaying, how much load is operating and how many watts have been consumed from the grid to the consumer load in case if the renewable energy's rating is compartively less to the consumers load, all will be displayed on a screen.
Project ObjectivesThe objective is to integrate renewable energies to the utlity grid. Renewable energy is the solar in our case.
Project Implementation MethodImplementation techniques or the methods are the simple phase locked loop, Second order generalized integrater (SOGI) and Multi harmonic decoupling cell-PLL (MHDC-PLL).
Benefits of the ProjectThe benefits are
-The extra watts so generated which is not utilised by the consumer is fed to the utlity grid
- The cost of per unit would be reduced as the watts are being sent back to the grid.
-Solar being the most effective, has more durability.
-Also displays how many watts have been consumed and how many watts are delivered to the grid with proper billing.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe extra watts will be delivered to the grid and the proper billing would be displayed. Also it will display how much load in watts is operating and how much energy is consumed by the consumer from the grid so to run the load in case if the renewable energy's rating is less compared to the running load.
