The vehicle is designed to handle dangerous materials, suppress fires, and assist in rescue
operations. The project mainly focuses on developing a robot that can go to places where a
fireman has to risk his life and go put off the fire. The development and implementation of
design for an unmanned robot that can detect a fire, move to the location of fire by itself, and
use water spray to extinguish the fire. The robot which we will be trying to develop will have
a water reservoir with it. It will be equipped with Micro-controllers, Communication Devices
and Sensors to allow it to perform tasks smartly.
In the recent year, robots are turned out to be an ingredient over which many people had shown their interest. Robotics has gained popularity due to the advancement of many technologies of computing and nano technologies. In this paper the design and development of automatic Fire fighting robot using android app. Basically, this paper is very important to avoid major accidents which are caused due to fire. When a fire accident occurs then the fire detection sensor detects the fire and the robot will sprinkle the water from the water sprinkler. By using Android App the robot is controlled. The entire operation is operated by an ARM. Hence this paper produces effective results.
This efficient Fire fighting robot can be used for such high risk task of extinguishing fire.
Our task as engineers is to design and build a prototype system that loaded with a water pump and this water pump is connected through plastic pipe to the water tank placed outside. Robots are designed to remove the human factor from labor intensive or dangerous work and also to act in inaccessible environment and also aims at decreasing the air pollution. It is the Robot that can move through a model structure, find a candle and then extinguish it with help of water.
Here we describe the design of Fire Fighting Robot. This mission is divided into smaller tasks, and each task is implemented in the most efficient manner such finds the fire in a specific room approaches the fire at a very fixed distance, extinguishes it with water. The robot designed in this paper minimize the possibility of the failure of operation of extinguishing fire due to faulty sensor reading because operator is operating this device. The RF based fire fighting robot is capable to accurately locate the position of the flames by actively scanning the entire area and obstacles so that the fire which has more potential to spread fire can be detected and extinguished faster which reduces the possibility of fire getting spread and save property from the damage.
There are several advantages of the firefighting robot many of them are discussed here;
It extinguishes the fire in the absence of human being.
It operates where human is unable to reach.
It works all the time without any rest and break.
It extinguishes a little flame which is ignorable to human eye.
It can be controlled through mobile and also works automatically whenever it sees a flame of fire.
We can also control it from our home by placing a camera on it and giving the instructions.
It enters through a small region which is very small for a human.
If we do modifications in its construction then it can extinguish more than one flame /fire at a same place.
Some fire jobs are too dangerous for human so these robots are used for their lives.
These robots are reliable and economical.
