Fire Fighting Robot
In this project, we aim to reduce the effect of fire accidents which usually start from small flames, by doing this we can save people's life and money. According to NCRB 1.2 lakh deaths have been caused because of fire accidents. Even though, there are a lot of precautions. So, we think about those robots which replace humans for fighting against fire. fire fighters extinguish fires to protect lives and to avoid destruction of property and environment. Through extinguishing operation, many firefighters are killed and injured due to the absence of information about hazard building infrastructure. In this project, we design and implement a prototype robotic system which intends to assist the firefighters in accomplishing their duties. The robot can successfully discover fire and reach it without running into an obstacle. We design a robot that will move towards the fire and pump out water around it to put down the fire.

Hardware
Fire Fighting Robot:
It is a robot that will move towards the fire and pump out water around it to put down the fire.
With following components:
An Arduino is an open-source electronics platform that allows us to make electronics projects using easy to use hardware and software. All Arduino boards contain a microcontroller, which is actually a very small computer. It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHZ crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button.
A motor driver is an integrated circuit chip which is usually used to control motors in autonomous robots. Motor driver act as an interface between Arduino and the motors. These ICs are designed to control 2 DC motors simultaneously. We are using to ICs for controlling four DC motors.
A Pump is a mechanical device that uses to transfer different fluids from one location to another. It is a hydraulic device that lifts fluids from low to high.
Servo motors are used in applications where very high precision motion is required like assembly robots, computer numeric controls. Servo can rotate approximately 180 degrees. (90 in each direction).
These types of sensors are used for short range fire detection. This unit is mostly accurate up to about 3 feet. This sensor basically detects IR (infra-Red) light wavelengths between 760 nm-1100nm (nano meter) that is emitted from fire flame.
