Project Summary

We proposes farmer to consumer supply management system (web and android application) that allows user to purchase vegetables online. Today's generation encourages high-tech services especially over the Internet. Hence the project is developed proficiently to help farmers and store owners to automate their daily supplies operations. By using our proposed system role of middle-man (arthi) can be avoided. This system aims to redefine this structure by bringing everything to customer online. With the online vegetable market, farmer can manage/advertise crops, shop keeper can purchase from farmer and can again manage his/her own store/dashboard. Consumer can create a customized order and delivery person can see orders to be delivered and then select suitable order for delivery. Thus the product will be delivered from farmer to consumer directly or may be through shopkeeper.

Project Objectives

The main objectives of our project are :

• Automate supply system from farmer to consumer.
• Mitigate role of middle man.
• To enable famer to advertise and sale vegetable/fruits at suitable price.

Project Implementation Method

• Data will be gathered from all stakeholders
• Database will be designed to accommodating all the roles of farmer, shopkeeper, consumer and delivery person.
• Web front end will be developed using php
• Mobile application will be developed using android studio
• After development testing will be performed
• Issues found during testing will be removed and improvement if needed will be incorporated.
• Deployment will be done after finalization from all stake holders.

Benefits of the Project

Following will get benefits from our project:

• Farmer (Crop/product can be advertised online and can be picked up by delivery person thus avoiding middleman)
• Shopkeeper (By viewing all available crops and products uploaded by farmer, and by ordering suitable product online, and product will be delivered at shop)
• Consumer (Order required product/vegetable/fruit online avoiding middle man and get the order delivered at door step)
• Delivery person can earn from this.
