For large areas and in industries, multiple such systems can be utilized to save time. Moreover, these robots are very cost effective as compared to manual worker. The flexibility, time saving and efficiency make these robot an excellent candidate for cleaning the floor. This project deals with the design and development of such robots.
Project ObjectivesThe project aims to design a floor cleaning robot which can autonomously clean the surface intelligently.
The overall design is optimized to offer maximum efficiency with in available power budget for extended service time.

Benefits of the ProjectThis project can be commercialized easily providing benefit to the society as well. It will no doubt reduce the work load of manual labour with efficient surface cleaning mobile robot at reduced cost. This will help in alleviating child labour.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe final system will include robot hardware with functioning modules able to operate autonomously and perform cleaning of various surfaces. A project report with detailed design and analysis will also be submitted with the hardware.
