Project Summary

Today cricket is one of the most popular game in Pakistan in the game of cricket batsman  need to be trained playing different varieties of bowling to make the batting technically perfect. The bowling to make the batting technically perfect. the bowling machine will assist for said purpose. the machine is to provide accurate and consistent batting practice for players of all standards like professional cricketers, amateur cricketers and club level cricketers. professional cricketers who can use it as a part of their regular practice for fine tuning of batting as well as eliminate flaws in their batting without necessity of bowler. also it will be of much use  at school , club and junior level where the standards of bowling are less consistent. the feeding of the balls so as to eliminate any human effort so that the a single person can utilize the machine will be carried out by a rotating door type feature where a ball rolls into the door , the door rotates and the ball rolls out 180 degrees into the launching mechanism . the launching mechanism consists two high velocities, spinning wheels which grip the ball as it rolls   between them, and launches it forward at high velocities simulating the bowling action of a real life bowler. The headpiece of the device is able to change the pitch and delivery balls at different angles so that the batsman can experience a variety of different deliveries  such as full , short , good length etc

the batsman does not have to readjust the machine each time.

Project Objectives

Our object is to provide such an entertainment and physical activity for people through which they can relief their stress, improve their health, improve their confidence and also get the opportunity to train themselves for Pakistan cricket team. To make a market research or analysis  of the existing products. To set out a comprehensive design methodology for all the phases of the products specification, product planning product development of the manufactured processes for the technical system. To develop, design and test a no powered system for controlling the speed and to draw up the conclusion and result for the machine.

Project Implementation Method

We have to connect the software with the hardware via Google app to select the bowler from the mobile and as you will say the bowler name, the bowler will be displayed on the screen. When you are standing on the pitch the bowler will run on the screen and when the bowler will do the throwing action the ball will come out from the machine and when you hit it on the scoring area the vibration sensors will sense it and display the result on the scoring board.

Benefits of the Project

The main idea of the project is to create a stress free environment for the people that they can play cricket and get their mind into ease. Many other benefits are children which are trying to play good and practice good will get a chance to practice more even after their matches. Players which play nationally would also be helped by this machine to practice their skills and also help them to be in a good shape. People will get more healthier in this way while they keep on practicing and enjoy it.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The software on this project is very important for the scoring and for the bowler video so that machine timing and bowler time should be matched. There are two motors which is being placed on the stand (bowling machine) which will throw ball from the machine to the batsman, the batsman will hit the ball to the scoring area which will be placed far from the machine, as the ball hit the target the score are have an vibration sensor placed and it will automatically show the result on the board, then a next ball will be placed. The bowling machine works on two DC motors, servo motor and 24 volt supply.
