Project Summary

In this digital world, there is a need to develop a social service platform for serving the community needy peoples that are not able to effort basic necessities of life like (Food, Basic education, Clothes, medicines, etc.). All these shortcomings forcing needy and poor people to use illegal means (begging, theft, and snatching). On the other side, Rich peoples want to donate and help these deprived peoples. Being a Muslim, a lot of rich peoples are donating or giving Zakat in their own ways. In large cities, peoples are struggling to find these needy persons/families because of busy schedules. A lot of donations are not consumed because of wrong information in finding these needy ones. So there is a need to provide a social platform for all the donors and needy peoples to help each other. Our plate form will facilitate needy peoples and donors to get registered. To reach both donors and the needy, we will first reach the needy peoples from all over the country through Facebook, Instagram, and use different social media. We use these social media platforms to advertise our work so people can be aware of this website. The other way we used to collect data from NGO’s and other government poverty elevation platforms like (Prime Minister Scheme “Ehsaas program”) and we will do further verification on this data and help the needy peoples. After registrations of both, donors can donate with ease and confidence. And needy can get donation with dignity. This web application not only provides a platform to donate but also help us to avoid the illegal and humiliation

Project Objectives

? Our objective is to develop and launch a social web application for the donors and deprived society. Both will benefit from our services with ease and effectively.

? Our application aiming at building trust and ease in donor’s life and these can play a vital role in reducing poverty.

? We want to contribute to improve the values of our society by providing a trustworthy platform.

Project Implementation Method

The proposed web application will help both donors and needy peoples to easy life and contribute to constitute a welfare society. Both donors (who denote money) and accepter (who need help) will register themselves on the website because they will be able to use our services and facilitate the community. Most of the poor peoples are not well aware to use technology or not have the necessary tools like smartphones to get registered on the web platforms. We will build a team for these people to assist in registering on the portal. The assistants will visit place to place to get information about these peoples and registered them on the portal. Assistants will also help donors to get registered on the portal. In the long term plan, we will open an office where people can visit and get benefits to help others. Organizations who are providing funds to needy ones will also be contacted and authentic data of needy people will also be shared with these. These organizations can take data (Name, Address, etc.) from our platform and can help these deprived in person. Many government and private organizations announcing poverty reduction schemes and we will publish these schemes via our platform. We will approach these organizations to donate to the registered and authenticated poor peoples. We will also provide data to these organizations to reach needy people in person. We will promote our website through Google ads. Then people will come to our website and register themselves or they can request for registration to us. We will try to help each and everyone who is in trouble. We will send our proposals to the organizations that already helping the needy peoples and they will get help via our platform. Many student organizations work in universities to help the poor peoples and deliver food, clothes, and money physically but sometimes they have no time to go physically if we provide such type of platform, they can feel free to help the peoples. There will be different types of donors like cash donors, cloth donors, food donors, used goods, education/ stationary, and service donors. The needy peoples can search and place requests to these donors according to their needs. On the other side, needy peoples will also be categorized according to their needs (food, cash, clothes, education, and service). The donors and needy peoples can reach each other according to service and need. Donation categories are also displayed for both to quickly search each other. Search filtration will be provided to quickly search donors and needy results in time save. Our web application will benefit society not only to help the poor but also reduce illegal activities and also reduce the crime rate.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The end product will be a website where someone comes and register himself/herself for donation or to donate. (Our team member will register those who did not know how to do registration) When someone came to took the donation he/she will fill the form and that data will be directly sent to the admin panel, then we will verify them, and then we will accept them or decline them, When we accept them the profile will be created with the donation type and for donors, it will be same the profile will be created and a chatbox.

People can donate clothes, money, books, educational funds.

For those people who want to take something of useless or extra things, they can sell the products like(t.v, laptops) at cheap rates as well, so someone can take advantage of those.
