Project Summary

Invention of the Internet and its spread in the world changes various aspects of human life. In addition, Internet changed human ways of interaction. Conversation online is one of the aspects, which comes with the privilege of Internet and is welcome by young users, using different social media platforms and chat rooms, users communicate with each other using SMS. Due to the need for quick typing, huge number of sentences are exchanged between users on daily bases; new abbreviations are invented for various words and phrases during chats. As a result, a new language is born known as SMS-texting. On the other hand, the issue of safety and information security has led to the introduction of numerous methods for secret communication. Among these strategies, steganography is relatively new. The presented paper offers this method for secret exchange of information through chat application by using and developing abbreviation text steganography with the employment of SMS-texting language.

In addition, user will have option for encryption or decryption of information. Basic purpose is to create a chat application that allows users to communicate with an ease of mind that information sent, delivered, and is destroyed after wards and cannot be leaked to any 3rd party source.

Project Objectives

Whats app, imo and others chatting app have  not  secure at all because It is difficult to trust in WhatsApp and other applications completely because the application is not open source, making it difficult to verify the functioning process and match them with the work of the encryption protocol which was announced. So for securing a app we add a additional methods in our application. In this app everything  is encrypted i.e. images, text, audio doc files. In addition, user or sender will have option for encryption or decryption of information. Basic objective is to create a chat application that allows users to communicate with an ease of mind that information sent, delivered, and is destroyed after wards and cannot be leaked to any 3rd party source. And also need access to sender to read the encrypted message.

Encryption is not an entirely new concept. Cryptographic messages, which require special tools in order to be decoded, dated back to ancient times. However; these are gaining wide spread popularity these days due to increased use of mobile phones and other hand-held devices that need security.
