When drivers try to find a parking space, they can cause confusion in traffic and increase their carbon emissions.

The application we aim to develop finds the closest parking spaces to the drivers and saves the drivers from the complex process they are in. This system will play an important role in the cities of the future.

Smart parking is an application that helps people to solve parking issues by using real-time parking data and GPS technology.
Its main purpose is to improve parking efficiency, optimize the use of available spaces and minimize the impact of parking on traffic and the environment. With the implementation of big data and intelligent algorithms, we dedicate ourselves to providing our users with an enjoyable and less stressful parking experience.
Firstly, our project is mobile application-based plus hardware. Our application provides the easiest way to find a parking spot. There are google maps shown on our home screen of the application which shows the available and nearest parking spots to you. After when customers book parking spots from a map through their vehicle number our application finds the shortest path to reach the parking goal. After reaching that particular parking area there is a proper automatic scanning system which is introduced by us. capture the image of car number plates and check whether this vehicle has a booking or not. If it has a book then open the barrier and save the entry time of that vehicle. When the time of exit the system again scans the plates checking the entry time of that vehicle and then shows the parking bill on the application. The camera will capture the image of the number plate and then send it to a raspberry pi 4 which is a mini-computer. After that, raspberry pi extracts the digits from the number plate of the vehicle and then checks if there is any booking against that digits. If exist then it sends a notification to the user application and shows their parking details like Entry and Exit time Total bill to park the vehicle.
