Courier services are essentially managing everyday mail, messages or packages. This service helps people receive their personal assets within a precise time-range through various transportation means and require expenses. Courier serves though useful and beneficial have drawbacks and limitations to them. In cities couriers can take the forms of cars, bikes and even taxis. They cannot guarantee same day delivery or overnight delivery as the case may be. Different courier services charge different rates for deliveries which are usually very expensive and have specific timing for parcel dispatch; therefore, to overcome such hassles we have proposed an Android-based application for courier delivery. By using this application any person can send their belongings e.g. baggage from one place to another, by just a click through their smart phones, after registering themselves with the app.
As in Pakistan there is no such android application for courier deliveries, we propose a system which helps user to send and receive the courier using our android application. It has no time limitations for delivery of courier. There is no extra charges for urgent deliveries. Usually when someone wants to deliver something he has to go to the cargo booking office and by using this application Sender does not have to go to the courier delivery booking office. People will get civilized mode of shipping. Anyone can be an agent and provide services. There is no training required for the agent. So, the user can be able to use this application as an agent or as a sender because there is no specific registration required for the agents.
Web based admin module which control and manages the whole process of courier delivery System. It will manage the account information of users (Agent/Sender). It will connect the Agents with the Senders. When a sender wants to send the courier to somewhere he will provide all the information about the courier and then will submit the request to it. Then it will list the agents related to that information and nearest to the location of the sender. It will show that list of agents to sender. Then after selecting the agent, it will provide the agent details which includes timings, city, capacity of carrying the parcel. When sender submit the confirmation request, it will save the information about the request and forward the request to the agent. If the agent also agrees then it will provide the contact details of agent and sender to each other. It also provide the live tracking of the parcel.
After that this Application will provide a list of agents according to the user required cities. Sender will choose the Agent who is suitable for his luggage transportation. The sender can track his/her parcel throughout the journey through Google map.
Project Objectives
The main objectives of the project are:
- To make courier delivery facile, convenient and affordable for people.
- It will give employment opportunity for any age group.
- People will get civilized mode of shipping.
- Provide good environment for both the sender and the agent of courier delivery.
- Provide ease of access to the sender by making the delivery easy by just using their smartphones.
- Give the complete track of courier throughout the delivery process.
- To solve the problem of senders waiting in long queues and to be able to book their courier without going to the courier delivery office.
- To reduce the problem of making urgent deliveries with no time.
- This system is also proposed to remove all the problems found while doing the application reviews of the current competitor applications and their respective systems.

Benefits of the Project
The main goal of this android application is to make the shipping facile, convenient and affordable for people and it will give employment opportunity for any age group. People will get civilized mode of shipping.
This application will save the cost of both the Agents and the Senders. When a Sender wants to send something to other city he/she needs person or something (transporter) which can carry it and can transport it to desired destination. So when that transporter travels especially for that purpose he/she will charge according to that. If a sender finds a person who is travelling to somewhere which is similar to sender’s destination for his own purpose and he/she can carry sender’s courier. So that will be hired to transport that courier in less charges. The traveler who is working as a transporter will also save money which will be spent on consuming the fuel. That traveler will be reached his/her destination in less money so it will be benefitted for both agent and sender.
Our application will increase the interaction of public with each other. It will help to increase the trust of the people on each other. If a person will send something through someone whom he does not know and he delivers honestly it will increase the trust and brotherhood. It also connects the people of different cities with each other by which there are many chances of good things. There are no area limitations or time limitations in our application. It will run through All over the country. It will increase the demand of people in industry to do that duty because every day many people sends the courier to other cities and many people travel to other cities every day. They can take advantage of that.
