Our goal is to make an adventurous/fantasy/mystery 3D game. The story of the game revolves around a group of friends who are invited to an important dinner at a large old Manor but as soon as they step into the manor they pass out and find themselves separated from their friends and locked in completely different places.

The main player of the game will have to find a way through the different places they are transported to through the portals and find one of their friends in each one. The main player will also harness a special elemental magic power at the end of each level that they may use in the next one and outsmart the enemies they find along the way. They will also be given hints and clues and have to crack codes to open special doors and places and access maps throughout the game.

Project Objectives

We really wanted to be able to work on something that we were really interested to pursue in the future for our careers. It wouldn't just be work then it would be something we enjoy spending our time on instead of a burden we'd just want to get over with. 

Since it is an app based game, we want it to be compatible with Android phones and allow users or the players to simply add to their phones and then enjoy their time implementing quick decision-making with the interesting scenarios throughout the game.

Project Implementation Method

We will use Unity3D and Blender for all the work we will do on the project and then after the testing phase we will transfer our app based game onto our Android phones and will use SDK allowing it to be compatible with all android versions. The game will not require any internet connection for the gameplay and therefore it will not be dependent on any internet connection.

We are using Unity3D for all the background programming and Blender for all the modeling and designing that will be required. Android Studio will be used at last so the game is able to be played on the Android phones which is already supported by a feature in Unity3D. 

Benefits of the Project

It will give us an opportunity to learn what goes behind the scenes in a game, from its storyline, background programming, plot, objective and scenario to what the user sees. This may be a great chance for us to step into a new field and prepare us to know how and what to work with and open doors into it in the future. 

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The final deliverable will just be an app that the user will install onto their Android phones.
