Project Summary

The Project is "Women Safety Mobile Application". The application is intended to maximize the women security by providing them easy tool to assist in tracking when they are out of house. Otherwise without tracking, if something unexpected happened to them there is no mean to provide any support.

The Agile Process Methadology is used throuhg out the project.

The project is divided in basic phases as followed  in software development process.

The project is under process and is expected to end at the end of July 2022.

Project Objectives

This software system will be a mobile application. Women safety App will be designed to provide the security to women outside their houses when they go out or travel alone. The System is intended to maximize the women security by providing them easy tool to assist in tracking when they are out of house. Otherwise without tracking, if something unexpected happened to them there is no mean to provide any support. Use of this application also maximize the sense of responsibility and smart use of technology that is easy to use and operate. It will make it easy to track down the user when she is out, which otherwise takes a time using separate applications already exists.

More specifically, the Application will include the feature of SoS Emergency alert service that will help even in weak signal areas to keep tracking feasible. The application will facilitate the location tracking, communication between the trusted contacts via alert generation.

Project Implementation Method

Agile Software Development Methodology is used for the  project because of the following reasons:

• It is fast and timed Box methodology.
• It allows the increments and iterations for phases.
• Testing will be done at end of each phase so helps in early encounter of bugs and fixing.
• The flexibility of this methodology will allow to easily add, delete or update any feature at any point of development.
• The Nature of concerned technology that will be used for this project is dynamic so at any time resources may not be available.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The final deliverable of the project will be a mobile application.

The application will be operational for the android platform.
