Wireless Electric Vehicle Charging Station
Project Area of Specialization Electrical/Electronic EngineeringProject SummaryTypically, electric vehicle systems are made up of a number of modules that work together to provide the vehicle's high power and track stability. The charging mechanism is connected to the bulk of these components. In this context, dynamic wireless power transfer is a viable solution for addressing electric car range anxiety while also lowering onboard battery costs. Wireless recharging has long been a feature of pure electric vehicles, and it allows for charging even while the vehicle is moving. However, analyzing this approach is challenging due to its complicated working philosophy, which includes a number of variables and factors. In the proposed system, receiver coils have been added to maximize charging power by offering a dynamic mathematical model that can describe and measure source-to-vehicle power transmission even though it is in motion. In the proposed mathematical model, all physical parameters describing the model were presented and discussed. The results showed the effectiveness of the proposed model. Also, the experimental tests confirmed the validity of the simulation results obtained by providing two coil receivers under the vehicle.
Project ObjectivesAs in the present time we use the vehicles charger with wire which is provides difficulties to the human nature. So for the purpose to avoid difficulties we want to implement a wireless electrical vehicles charger.
The main objectives of the EV charger are:
- Ensure a significant increase in user confidence
- Ensure a significant increase in user functionalities
- Ensure a significant increase in user efficiency of future EVs
- Infrastructure expenses are lower.
- High-efficiency power transfer
- High-speed charging is a possibility (but increasing costs)
- Maintenance needs are minimal.
There are hardly no electromagnetic emissions
Project Implementation MethodThe project will be implemented in two phases;
- Phase-1: Software interface
- Phase-2: Hardware integration
Furthermore, having two coil receivers beneath the EV is an advancement in the approach, which was thoroughly detailed. In the WPT system, mutual inductance is a key parameter. As a consequence, the mutual inductance values were calculated using the considered one or two coils scenarios. A strategy for assessment was discussed, and the two instances were contrasted and concluded.
The work presented involved the creation of a new type of WPT gadget for high-efficiency EV battery charging. Extracted data from a laboratory setting and simulation studies show that the suggested technique performs well in general.

When it comes to electric mobility, there are several options for "recharging" a car, including battery charging, battery swapping, and hydrogen refueling. Rosina pointed out that hydrogen refueling is only utilized for hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicles, which account for a very small portion of the EV industry. The station can detect the exact location of each battery module to be switched using a mix of computer vision and wireless communication in the case of a battery swap. On EE Times, we went into this issue in further detail.
The authors investigated static modelling to improve system efficiency of 22 kHz and 85 kHz 50 kW wireless charging systems for electric vehicles; this model relied on mutual inductance between primary and secondary coils, and it was only verified for the case of superimposing receiver and transmitter coils. The authors investigated a dynamic situation in which they attempted to explain the link between the position deviation of the receiver and transmitter coils. The power output as well as the global efficiency factor were calculated. The analysis and mathematical model took into account internal characteristics like as resistance, inductance, and the pitch angle between the two coils.
Furthermore, by placing two coil receivers under the car, the experimental testing validated the veracity of the modelling results.
Benefits of the ProjectThis article focused on the usage of WPT systems for EVs. In terms of compensation topology and coil structure, the essential components of the WPT were investigated. The static and dynamic modelling of the suggested WPT approach is the study's most important finding. A novel model that encompasses both static and dynamic challenges is designed and characterized. This model has been empirically validated in the lab. The findings were good, confirming the efficiency of the observations provided. This was done throughout the whole receiver coil. The efficiency is determined by the mutual inductance increased value. Furthermore, having two coil receivers beneath the EV is an advancement in the approach, which was thoroughly detailed. In the WPT system, mutual inductance is a key parameter. As a consequence, the mutual inductance values were
calculated using the considered one or two coils scenarios. A strategy for assessment was discussed, and the two instances were contrasted and concluded.
The work presented involved the creation of a new type of WPT gadget for high-efficiency EV battery charging. Extracted data from a laboratory setting and simulation studies show that the suggested technique performs well in general. The results demonstrate that installing a dual receiver increases the wireless recharging system's efficiency by 100%. The data also demonstrate that when the speed increases, the recharge system's efficiency declines. Finally, the suggested approach has a worldwide efficiency of 90%, which helps to extend the life of the battery.

There are transmitter and receiver in wireless charging. A 220V 50Hz AC supply is converted into a high frequency alternating current, which is then supplied to the transmitter coil, which creates an alternating magnetic field that cuts the receiver coil and causes the receiver to produce AC power output.
Wireless communication refers to signal transmission through radio waves rather than wires. Wireless technologies are utilised for things as simple as turning off the television to as complicated as providing information from an automated corporate programme to the sales force while they are out in the field.
The final delivery will be the prototype which will provide the following things easy.
- Wireless
- Magnet relation with each other
- Charging focused devices
No need of wire
