Project Area of Specialization RoboticsProject SummaryOur project we will design a smart robot that will classify the objects on the basis of their appearance. Robot will be mounted with a camera to detect the object. Using Image processing techniques, it will identify the object and send the appropriate commands to the microcontroller to perform sorting/classification operation. Initially, we will focus on two basic things like cups and bottles.
This proposed system can be used in industry where objects moving through a conveyor belt can be separated by their appearance. It will help us to classify complicated classification problems with accuracy and consistency.
Project Objectives- The major feature of this project is that it will detect and sort/classify things.
- Robot will grip things with the help of a gripper.
- It will ease humans by tackling classification problems.
- The error rate will be very low and the system will remain consistent in classification problems.
- Efficiency will be high.
- System can fail, if the gripper couldn’t work properly.
In case of image detection failure, the system will not respond.
Project Implementation Methodafter assembling hardware, we will make car that will be motor cars where car move with the functioning of the motor, we will attach gripper, sensor and pixy camera , arduino on it.

Our robot is not basically use for object detection but it also use for recycling purpose and it will be very beneficial for every industry which doing packing, sorting or classifying things. In our society we use these models to clean our road we see many animals are killed in road accident so we use this robot as surveillance robot which detect animal on road and place it on corner of road. We target users of agriculture, recycling, packing and many type of industries user.
