In this project, we will build a quad-copter that will follow the way point’s navigated path and
will be tracked using the help of the Global Positioning System (GPS). It will also allow real-time
monitoring of the object by locking the target. The main objective of this project is to collect
live data and video information from a particular known area. To get the
information, we must assign the values of length and width that the drone can travel using
GPS module. It can be used for different purposes like rescue, surveillance, tracking, site
surveys or other tasks like security management, etc.
The major objectives of our project are as follows.
• Enabling quadcopter to follow the specified configurations during the flight.
• Detect and monitor targeted objects using improvement technology for security and
survey purposes.
• Reduce the expenses used over the main-power and other resources to overcome the
subject challenges.
• Providing a secure mean (product) to fix the threat easily
we used in this project GPS to detect easily the location of the harmful area and also used a flight controller which is the brain of the quadcopter and also we used the sensor to make our project multi-purpose for security and for detecting the threats of the metallic bombing and we try to use our quadcopter to fly with fingers through a sensor and also we can use this to calculate the number of cars moving on-road and also we can try to lift heavyweight
In the modern age of technology, the quadcopter has become one of the most popular inventions in
the field of science. It is also known as a UAV (Unmanned Aerial vehicle). Wireless controlled
quadcopter and planes are highly valued for their ability to remotely fly wide areas without the
risks of their traditional manned aircraft. They have a high potential for use in remote-sensing
applications; surveillance; scientific study and research. Research and development of these
devices are getting high encouragement day-by-day. This project will be designed to meet up
different sorts of task including navigation waypoint to allow patrolling of the desired path,
Frequency Transceiver
It works as a transmitter and receiver. The data is sent serially from the transmitter which is
received by the tuned receiver. The transmitter and the receiver are dually interfaced to two
microcontrollers for data transfer.
ESC
The brushless motors are normally 3 phased, so a direct supply of DC power will not turn the
motors. The Electronic Speed Controllers (ESC) comes are interfaced to the motors which
generating three high-frequency signals with different but controllable phases continually which
helps the motors to spin. The PWM signal generated by the microcontroller is fed to the ESC,
which in turn provides a signal to motor operation. It is recommended that the ESC rating is at
least twice the motor current rating to avoid any mishap.
• GPS
The global positioning system (GPS) is a satellite-based navigation system made up of 31
satellites. GPS satellite circles the earth twice a day in a precise orbit. Each satellite transmits a
unique signal and orbital parameters that allow GPS devices to decode and compute the precise
location of the satellite.
