INTRODUCTION

Women Empowerment and Security is an android and a web based digital platform, designed in such a way that it will practice an integrated approach to promote gender equality. This platform will transform thousands of lives through evidence based programs in a way that it will facilitate them with rights of their society, security and economic ventures.

This application will facilitate security to females. Every female can reach out for help anytime with the help of this application. Women Empowerment and Security provide the service that will allow users particularly women to know about their legal rights. Instead of standing in a queue for hours and running after people to solve their issues. This platform will provide all those services while sitting anywhere. Talk to an Expert is the feature that enhances this application as it doesn’t require any charges to approach to the expertise. Whereas, a panic button is one of the vibrant feature of this application. By just opening the application, it will automatically send coordinates of the victim to the nearest police station. The police will have a pinpoint location of the victim and they can reach on time. The application is designed to facilitate as well as provide awareness to females on the time of any alarming situation.
 

Project Objectives

A system that will allow all possible ways of empowering women of the society. Mostly, it will focus on establishing a comfort zone to practice an integrated approach that promotes gender equality across all programs. This platform will transform thousands of lives and will serve with a trusted environment.

These are the following objective of this platform.

• It will provide a display of information regarding what problems women of the society face and what are their legal rights the country and the religion is providing her.
• It will display a chat portal for providing the service of “Talk to an Expert”, where you will select the category of your issue either its legal issue or business related issue and then a request will be send to the relevant experts where the expert who selects “OKAY” will communicate via chat box.
• The displayed chat box will end as soon as the chat ends this act is due to security reasons.
• The system will also showcase the social dependency issue because most of the time the women financially depends on someone though they got skills but they don’t have awareness of that particular platform. So here she can create a funding campaign.
• The system will also display job vacancies particularly for women.
• This system will also have a feature of a panic button for women security where just with a tap the violence could be located easily.  
• By just opening the application and press the help button, they can reach out for help to anyone they want. On installation the females can register phone numbers and ask for help from their relative or if they are in a grave situation they can get help from police.

Software Development Life Cycle

This digital platform will be developed in iterative model as per the requirements are adaptable with the change in society. The iterative model will provide a better way to manage changes and maintenance. In future every functionality will be tested repeatedly with further development of the system.

The extent of the undertaking is wide. Social assistance thoughts are the eventual fate of mankind. The sharing works of noble cause had incredible effect. Women empowerment always lack in our society. Islam is the only religion where women are considered equal to man. Islam raised the status of women from below the earth to so high that paradise lies in her feet.

Women Empowerment and Security is expected to empower women in every aspect in a secure environment. Counselors that focus on expanding women’s financial and social opportunities, increasing women’s rights and security and advancing women participation. Therefore, we can claim that here in Pakistan, this system has definitely a broader scope in upcoming years.
