Pakistan is an underdeveloped country and it faces many challenges, which include poverty. There are people who cannot even afford the basic requirements of living. They do not have shelter to live, food to eat, and clothes to wear, or other accessories of life. People who have extra are living a comfortable and a posh life. While those who have barely the vitals are fighting each day for life. They fail to meet the basic requirements. Poor people do not have enough clothing, food, education and healthcare. Being poor means deprived economically, politically and socially Therefore, to resolve these issues of our society, we will develop an Android & IOS Application “WASEELA” which provide platform to the needy person to get things of their daily needs. There will be a “Donor” who will donate clothes and shoes to needy and poor peoples through our platform. By this project, we will put our efforts to help needy person to meet their daily needs at free of cost. Moreover, wastage of unnecessary products/things will also be utilized. In future work, we will make further improvements in verification system i.e.; users belong to the area of needy person should verify either he is really deserving or not.

Project Objectives

• To develop a system that would help donors to donate clothes and shoes to needy and poor peoples.
•  To Overcome poverty, create stronger communities and helping to build a happier society for everyone
•  To make better use of waste or useless material or to overcome pollution also.
• To assess needy peoples based on some matrices and then base on them distribute donation.

Project Implementation Method

To address the issue we discussed above, we came up with idea of app-based solution for it, reason behind that is to do digital charity, welfare or human care. Solutions regarding these issues are listed below:

•  It will be compulsory for the Donor and Donee to register itself to the App.
• Donee will be checked whether he/she is deserving or not based on some criteria.
•  Donee and Donor both will receive messages about the donation, messages will be optional both parties can turn it on or off.
•  App will have different categories for donation one can donate clothes and shoes
•  For Donee we will have a matrix, which will calculate whether the Donee is really deserving.
• App will have two module one for Donor and one for Donee and there will also be a webbased admin panel for managing the database associated with the App for tracking Donors, takers and their history.
•  If there are very much poor peoples and they even can’t afford phones, so for that we have contacted to a third party organization (Fixit),a non-profitable organization that is working for the welfare of the People. Fixit team will collect the garments and will store and will be distributed on the ground floor.

Benefits of the Project

Benefits of the project are:

• This project will provide a platform to donors to donate cash,clothes,shoes and other unused things.
• It will also provide a plateform to poor and needy people to get the daily life things free of cost.
• This project will help in utilizing the unused things.
• This Waseela App will also help Fixit(A non-profitable organization for charity) in doing their charity.
• Giving them moral support, showing heartfelt humility and respect makes them aware that someone really does care about them and trying to improve their condition.
• Increase their self-esteem  of donation takers and help them in overcoming barriers they face every day.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Fiinal Deliverables of the project are:

• We will provide an App to Donors through which they will donate cash and other unused things.
• We will also provide an App to Poor and Needy people from where they can get donations.
