Project Area of Specialization Biomedical EngineeringProject SummaryOur primary focus is to make an easily portable wireless electronic stethoscope having Bluetooth connectivity keeping the health of both the patients and the doctors as the main priority. The main reason for developing this type of user friendly electronic stethoscope is to reduce the risk of spread of contagious diseases between the doctors and the patients and to make the diagnosis efficient by the use of mobile app. Firstly sounds like heart beats are converted into electrical signals by the electret microphone and the amplifier amplifies it, we will also use filter which filters the signals. Finally these signals are transferred to mobile app by the use of Bluetooth module. We will receive audible and visual output through mobile app.
Project ObjectivesThe aims & objectives of the project are given below:
To give an audible and visual output through a Mobile app.
To record patient data for future reference.
To provide remote monitoring from any location by which the risk of spread of contagious diseases decreases.
Project Implementation Method| In this project, the actual data is being received through a stethoscope chest piece and send to the microphone module that amplifies it. Then, this data will be sent to the microcontroller that processes it and sends this signal to the Bluetooth module. Bluetooth will be paired with a smart phone through the app and by this we can listen to the body sounds. The signal is also visually displayed on the mobile screen by using app. Thus, we can view the graph of the binaural beat in real-time. |

- An amplified and filtered audible output by the use of an amplifier and filter through mobile app.
- To give visual output on mobile screen through mobile app.
- To perform remote monitoring by the use of mobile app.
