Project Area of Specialization Software EngineeringProject SummaryOur project (Virtual tour of MNSUAM Academic block) is based on 3D modeling and virtualization. In this project, simply a character will move according to user. Any person can visit any place of academic block anytime being anywhere in the world. Basically the purpose of this project is to provide easy approach to any faculty room, office, library or class in the academic block.
After completion of this project any new visitor can easily visit the university premises virtually. Map used in this project will tell about the location of any Lecturer's office, Dean's office, Faculty room, classrooms, library etc. Actually, academic block is same from all the sides, so this virtual tour will provide us the facility to approach the right place where we want to go.
Project ObjectivesThe objective of our project is to provide the facility for new comers. He/she can get access easily to different rooms like faculty rooms, class rooms, dean office etc.
Project Implementation MethodWe are building the above project on 3D modeling software like blender, 3D Max, Maya, game engine etc. After completing the project we will deploy it on the website of our university.

- New students can check the academic block through university official website, when this project will uploaded on website.
- User can enter in the premises virtually wherever he/she want.
- Common places like library, computer labs, dean office etc. will be able to view easily.
We are using graphics designing techniques, CAD measurement techniques and some navigation techniques in our project.
Actually, virtual reality is itself a technique and this technique is used in our project.
3D-Modeling, Mapping, path recognizing and navigation controlling are main processes. After completion of these processes the final project will be deliverable.
