For many years’ students have been using traditional ways to apply in different universities by making a proper plan to visit university and filling a manual form which was later changed to online platform for ease of students but unfortunately this online system has made things much more complex. Each institution has its own kind of demands and student has to fill all of it and attach all the documents every time in order to apply and generate the fee challan. After going through the fee challan process and long bank queues student still has to courier the paid challan fee to print the entry test entrance coupon. In this modern era of technology where we are predicting future using AI shouldn’t something be done for students of our country to make this process easy and smooth for them?

University expert is a one stop solution to apply in multiple universities of Pakistan through one single application form.

This project is focused on making a one stop platform to address all the above issues which include:

• Applying in multiple universities by filling a single application form.
• Automatic filling of multiple admission forms using curl/alternate method.
• A data mining based module for merit prediction
• University comparisons
• Past exams of different universities.
• Counselling sessions
• Mock test for preparation
• Aggregate calculator
• Scholarship information & eligibility
• Weekly informative/entertainment videos about universities

These will be the main modules in project and a working prototype is in progress with all the above mentioned modules. Data collection is one of the most important part and shall be done by data scrapping(php).

    The major part of this project is to fill the universities application from in an automated way. And to do it this system will use automation techniques (1) by making http requests. Initially this system will work for automation of 10 top universities of Pakistan.

Automation depends on the technology used on server side. Each server side technology has its own check on web crawlers and security. Automation in systems using php as server side can be done through cURL method and varies accordingly.

Project Objectives

We are bringing innovation in almost every aspect of the admission process. We are innovating education by adopting a new way to apply. Our product is a reliable alternative to manual applying process or visiting several websites and applying to each one of them individually. We are introducing a bot called “Expertu” that will assist you in getting any information about universities at a single platform.

No need to go to several university websites and create account every time with new set of requirement sand then keep track of anything. No need to give tons of cash to coaching centers just to get one time made exam question when you can get a single “expert book” which has all questions and material you need for preparation. Each time you fill an application form, each time you visit a new bank with a long queue. All you need is to fill a single application form and let our experts take care of everything.

An expert module based on data mining to help you chose which universities are best for you according to your needs and where you should apply, which is not available right now anywhere in Pakistan.

The other innovation is that there is no such online platform available for people where they can

Apply to multiple universities and get discounts in their tuition fee after they are selected. We are collaborating with different universities and giving discounts to students on their fee.

We are also having a guidance system for students who are confused about their careers. Apart            from this the book we call “expert book” will be the single resource needed to prepare for any university entrance test exam.

Universityexpert.pk  is the one stop shop where students can apply in multiple universities of Pakistan through one single application form alongside career counselling, merit prediction, universities detailed information, entry test preparation, aggregate calculator, fee discounts and informative/entertainment videos about universities.

Project Implementation Method

Project is based on two applications i-e web and mobile application.

Development Methodology

We are eager to launch the application as soon as possible to the market. In order to do so we have devised a plan for next 6 months and broke the said timeline in milestones.

Stages:

1. User experience & Design

On this stage we produce sketches by doing research on user behavior and meet with students and experts of education domain.

1. Testing

On this stage, we sit together and ensure all prerequisites are shrouded in these utilization cases/outlines and produce last item structures dependent on the client experience research and client stream portrays.

1. Front end coding

          After plan finish we will take it to the front end coding to make working site pages for the entire application (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap structure, jQuery)

1. Testing

Prior to beginning advancement, again a trial will occur to guarantee all practical component are in working position graphically.

1. Back end coding

The principle improvement of the item will begin this stage. This is being a lengthiest stage in this cycle, which incorporates all database work; back end programming to make this task live.

1. Functional testing

The greatest testing stage will be begun after improvement; at this stage we will coordinate the functionalities, database relations and so forth. A great deal of utilization case testing situations. Significant breaks and bugs will be settled during this time.

1. Alpha Testing

1. Beta Testing
