operations. Hence, to get the proper output and efficiency continuous monitoring and controlling is necessary. In this, project various aspects of three phase induction motor such as speed, temperature, voltage and current are monitored and controlled to stabilize unwanted conditions
using the PLC. An intelligent system, PLC, which is an outcome of the development of microelectronics and telecommunication systems, is used in order to carry out the observation and control of motors and drivers. In this project we are monitoring and controlling Tube well by using PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers).
Automating 3 Phase motor control to
We are using Fatek Fbs series PLC (programmable logical controller),it is connected to VFD (variable frequency drive) to control the speed of motor. We have 1hp 3 phase induction motor. By using zmpt and zmct sensors we are measuring the power consumed. Releasing of unwanted gass to get rid of priming effect for which we are using solenoid valve. There is a communication between arduino and PLC using RS232 to TTL converter. Then all the parameters like speed, water flow, current, voltage etc are displayed on HMI which is connected to PLC.

It is a 3 phase induction motor controlling and monitoring.
The PLC is connected to VFD. Which is linked with motor.
Arduino is used to measure Power consumed.
We are controlling priming effect by switching solenoid valves as per readings of water flow sensor.
There is commuication between arduino and PLC through RS232 to TTL converter.
All parameters llike speed, temperature, voltage, current, water flow rate is displayed on HMI screen connected to PLC
