Trip-guru is an online platform for tourist and adventure lovers. It is most specifically for tourists who want to explore beautiful places in the northern areas of Pakistan. The basic motivation of the project is to provide guided tours in Pakistan to make good experiences for tourists. The economy is the backbone of any country. Tourism is one of the low-cost and good sources of increasing economy for any country. Tourism is an important and vital source of income for many countries. Tourism brings large income to the local economy in the form of wages and services charges.  Technology has revolutionized the world of tourism globally. Many countries of the world have boosted up their economy just because of tourism. Egypt, Switzerland and many more are examples. Pakistan has been gifted with treasures of beauty by lord. But many places are unexplored by the world. We are going to design a worldwide platform from where all over the world people can interact with people of that place and get help from people of that area. And experts or guides will help them to spend their vacation or trip wonderfully. Our website will be providing all necessary information and suggestions for tourists with efficiency and accuracy. This site will also become a source of employment for the people. This site will be helpful for the tourists that want what they want. Because we believe that tourism can make an impact by providing jobs and improving the wealth of people in that area.

Project Objectives

To fulfill the gap between tourist points and tourists, we will design a website where the local citizen will offer their services. We will allow the local community to rent their vehicles and rooms of their houses. They do not need to specifically open a restaurant or rest house; they can offer their belongings on rent as they want. In this way, there is a wonderful opportunity for local masses to get direct benefits from the tourism industry. And tourists can also enjoy the customized trips with local people and get a chance to know more about the culture and customs of that area.

Project Implementation Method

The Waterfall model has traditionally been a popular one in software development. So-called because of its sequentially flowing process — conception to initiation to analysis to design to construction to testing to implementation — it has been the most prevalent product development methodology in the software product space for a while. The waterfall is an easy model to follow. A linear system of getting things done in a way that makes logical and intuitive sense, it’s easy to get teams on board even if they have diverse backgrounds because everyone knows exactly what’s expected of them far in advance. Waterfall requires little flexibility, which works well for rigid teams who don’t like being flexible.

This project has multiple advantages. The first one it can directly impact local life. People will start earning by providing their services related to tourism.  secondly, tourists can utilize their maximum time to explore new destinations instead of wasting time in management and arrangements. In addition, guided tourism can make much better impression when someone tells or narrate stories about the places they visit.  All the advantages of tourism are directly or indirectly effected positivly by this project.
