A dishwasher is machine used to clean dishware and cutlery automatically. Unlike manual dishwashing, which relies heavily on physical scrubbing to remove soiling. A mixture of water and dishwasher detergent is pumped to tub, cleaning the dishes with the cleaning mixture. The mixture is recirculated to save water and energy and the water is then drained. Often there is a pre-rinse, which may or may not include detergent. This is followed by the main wash with fresh water and may be detergent. Once the wash is finished, the water is drained, more water enters the tub by means of an electro-mechanical solenoid valve, and the rinse cycle(s) begin. After the rinse process finishes, the water is drained again. Then the steel frame in which the pots are put will be taken out of the machine to continue the dish washer. This dish washing machine will work on DC/ACs power supply.

Project Objectives

It's more water-efficient to use a dishwasher than to wash dishes by hand. For the most part, people will save water by washing dishes in the dishwasher rather than washing them by hand. It is also energy-efficient compare to other dishwashers. Old sponges are hotbeds for E.coli and Salmonella — common bacteria which cause food poisoning. Unlike washing dishes by hand, a dishwasher kills germs with heated water. It will have an antibacterial cleaning/initiating function which ensures maximum hygiene by killing 99.9% of germs. It will let people do things they enjoy doing. All they need to do is load it with dirty dishes and cutleries, making job easy and hassle-free. For house parties and family gatherings where more cutleries are used, a dishwasher can most definitely clean faster than hand-washing.

Project Implementation Method

  A two way supply will be availed for the motor. Two pipe lines connection will be given to tub (hot/normal water). The design of the pipes may differ in size, shape and placement in the dishwasher, or in the number, size and location of their water ports (holes through which water is forced). Timer switch is used to give a limited/required time to dishwasher to complete all of it's functions. Steel frame is used to put the utensils in arrange form and safe from breakage. Hot water will start flowing to tub to initiate the first rinse function, it removes the oil and sticky parts from utensils and make ready to be cleaned. Once the utensils gets cleaned, the pre-rinse option will get started and normal water will start flowing to make the dishes foam free.
