Abstract
The Quality Assurance of web applications were always a critical non-functional requirement. This document contains an information about the QA of the PSEB Website and Application.
It will include the code level security and overall performance of the application as well, however server security isn’t included since it is not in the scope and is given by another firm.

Executive Summary
Overview
Nexus engaged Activity to conduct a Web Application Security Assessment of the application developed for PSEB i.e. NIC Management Portal. The purpose of the engagement was to utilize active exploitation techniques in order to evaluate the security of the application against best practice criteria and to validate its security mechanisms and identify application level vulnerabilities.
This report details the scope of testing conducted, all significant findings. The summary below provides a non- technical audience with a summary of the key findings and relates these back to business impacts.
This document summarizes the findings, analysis and recommendations from the assessment, which was conducted.
Note: please note that each application/ software needs maintenance while its life cycle since version changes of the code and to run the application smoothly, compatibility and upgradation requires time to time otherwise it leads to performance and security issues in future.
