•Project is design and fabricated to enhance the co-efficient of performance of vapor compression refrigeration cycle (VCR).
•For enhancing the co-efficient of performance, we use a concept of preheating the refrigerant before sending it to the compressor.
•Because co-efficient of performance of the system completely depends on the work of compressor
For preheating we design a solar thermal collector by using copper tubes and a luminous object.
The main purpose of solar thermal collector to preheating the refrigerant before send it into compressor.
By this method, we easily reduce the work of compressor, and make the system is more efficient .

The work of compressor is to the increase the pressure and temperature of refrigerant.
By the concept of preheating refrigerant through a solar thermal collector we basically increasing the temperature of refrigerant due to which the load on compressor decreases.
As the load on compressor decrease the co-efficient of performance of vapor compression refrigeration cycle increase.
Mathematically formula to determine the co-efficient of performance of the system,

Co-efficient of performance of the system only depend on two factors,
1.Refrigerant effect
2.Input work (work done by compressor)
The co-efficient of performance of system will be increase, if work done by compressor is reduced to minimum to minimum, due to mathematically inversely relation between co-efficient of performance and work done by compressor.
•Essentially, a vapor-compression refrigeration system is a system that uses liquid refrigerant in a closed system which circulates the refrigerant through four stages in which it is alternately compressed and expanded, changing it from liquid to vapor. As this change happens, heat is either absorbed or expelled by the system, resulting in a change in temperature of the surrounding air that is passing over the unit's components.
•Any of various devices for the absorption of solar radiation for the heating of water or buildings or the production of electricity.
•A solar thermal collector collects heat by absorbing sunlight. The term "solar collector" commonly refers to a device for solar hot water heating but may refer to large power generating installations such as solar parabolic troughs and solar towers or non water heating devices such as solar air heaters. so overall conclusion is that we want fabricate and design the thermal solar collector with vapor compression cycles
