The computer has brought revolution in every sphere of human life, whether it is business, education field, government, medical science, etc. The computer has reduced the human workload, businesses are going global and everything is available at the click of the mouse. In any organization, top management is using a computer in almost every department. Education Department is also a very important department, whether it is public or private. All need to record their students’ details, like their general information, printing their DMC’s and results online and to prompt them through SMS alerts. I hear and see most of the application working in this field except any application which will trace Students’ DMC’s details and generate results online by logging to the system. So that we are developing an application for maintaining information related to Students DMC and results generation then printing their results sheets or DMCs for the University of Buner. This is an online need Web-based project that will be developed in PHP programming language and MySQL database used as backend.

According to the University of Buner, their existing system is entirely manual and have no access to students to check their results online anytime. The students must wait for the resulting news and then will wait for the DMC to check their marks. students do not know about the announcement of the result and they ask their teachers for the results. The university/college have to print all those DMC’s and to hand over all those DMC’s to students which is time consuming and expensive job.

Project Objectives

Computerization of the Examination Department of UOB is concerned with managing student’s related records. The existing system at the organizations is manual and hence not integrated. Many problems have arisen because of the manual system. But by implementing our proposed system, the organization can have the following benefits;

• The system will decrease the complexity of the Examination Department of UOB to trace the student’s result.
• There will be different access levels like student’s login, teacher’s login, and super admin login.
• Students will be able to check their results online and can see their DMC’s and can take print of the result anytime online.
• There will be SMS alert in the system and students will receive result updates from the university/department.
• This system has good management of data, along with integrity and minimizing redundancy
• This system is user friendly in all possible ways.
• The new system provides easier work than the existing system for the Human   Resource Department.
• The new system is a secure system that can be accessed only by authorized users.
• It will be easier for the concerned department to search for any student’s record easily online.

Project Implementation Method

Modules Description:

These are the modules in the proposed project which will interact with this project. Which are described below,

Administrator:

In this module administrator is the person with all administrative privileges, of the system, who can update, create and accept any enquiry. An administrator will also generate different documents related to the students. It will manage and control all the flow of the system. Admin will give a username and password when student register.

Teacher:

This module has restricted access to the system. The teacher can login to the system and can upload the student’s data and can also search students to check the result and can also take prints etc.

Students:
The students will login the system by providing their username and password and can see their results online and can generate their DMC or can print their DMC. They will also receive SMS alerts.

Result Declaration:

There will be a result announcement date notification. The student can see the result date.

DMC Generation:

Students’ DMC or result will generate online. Students will be able to check their result anytime and can take print of the result.

Fee System:

The student can check their fee status.

Comment System:

Students and Teachers will be able to comment on the news.

SMS Notifications:

The students will get important notifications of results declaration date etc.
