SOLAR POWERED AUTOMATED PESTICIDE SPRAYING ROBOT

More than forty percentage of the populace within-side the global chooses agriculture as an important occupation. To maintain the quality of agriculture field, farmers use pesticide spray to kill the pests that destroy the agriculture products which can cause a loss to a farmer. To eliminate this issue and to increase the efficiency for a farmer, an autonomous robot will carry out the duty to spray the field to ensure any danger caused by the pesticides. It will limit the duties of farmers further to the speed and efficiency. Control and tracking of the system are primarily based on IOT because of which the position of the field will be checked and managed from anywhere globally utilizing internet. Here we are working on two controlled agenda, field control and robot control as well as all the information will reach the farmer which will be uploaded by an application.. The vehicle will have a camera which will deliver a live session of field so when it performs out its important activity, we are able to monitor the complete system. Entire procedure will be able to switch to automatic mode for complete control through the machine and manual mode which will be controlled by the farmer. Project Objectives:
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGY / ARCHITECTURE:
This project will be based on automations in agriculture field. A robot which will replace the human presence in field and will control the field requirements i.e pesticide spraying. It will use raspberry pi as a brain of the system and will perform following fuctions.
Camera will act as an eye for the project to monitor the complete field. Incase if the vehicle missed a particular area to spray, we can monitor that area using this camera which will give us a live session of the field.
The challenging problem for farmers now a-days is pesticides and to overcome this issue a container will be fixed on robot with a spraying facility that will help the farmer to spray pesticides. The farmer will use the application to instruct the vehicle to spray.
Power is essential for every electrical device as well as for this robot and its sensors. We will use a renewable energy source (Solar power) to operate this system throughout the day.

Benefits
It takes a lot of farmers to work in the field that results in wastage of man power increasing work force. Therefore, this project aims to save human energy and efficency.
More labour work requires more expenditures making it costly for the farmers to work in the field which involves machineries as well where as our autonomous pesticide spraying robot will reduce the cost and will be more convenient for the farmers to work on the field.
Labour work when performing manually requires time which can be a disadvantage for the farmers if they want to work on given time. Therefore, this project will reduce the time consumption of the farmers as it will aim to work autonomously.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable:
This project can be implemented in paddy, wheat and other fields. It can provide complete control and monitoring of the field connected. The farmer can control the field from home or any part of the world using internet. The vehicle performs the basic function of pesticides spraying.. The field monitoring can be done by the help of camera in the vehicle. We can control it from anywhere using IOT with the help of an application. It will be very cost effective for the farmers and it will help towards their wealth and improvement in the agriculture. This autonomous vehicle will perform basic task concerning the agriculture field i.e pesticide spraying done autonomously. Where it takes human energy to spray the fields, this project will aim to do it autonomously decreasing human labour and increasing the efficiency.
