The BLOOD BANK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM is great project. this project is designed for successful completion of a project on blood bank management system. The basic building aim is to provide blood donation service to the city recently. Blood Bank Management System (BBMS) is a Web-based application that is designed to store, process, retrieve and analyze information concerned with the administrative and inventory management within a blood bank. This project aims at maintaining all the information pertaining to blood donors, different blood groups available in each blood bank and help them manage in a better way. In the modern world, everyone is connected with smart devices and telecare of wellbeing to protect from casual accidents. In emergency accident sometimes we need of blood at emergency conditions and we suffer a lot without managing it. In addition, sometimes causality comes in death of persons. The main of this project is to develop a web-based application and provide blood donation services to needy people at their hospitals. Application is designed to gather, process, store and retrieve information of concerned blood donor and further supply donated blood to needy people. We will manage all information of blood groups and will also focus to gather in advance without shortage of blood. Information of nearly residence people will also be added to contact them in emergency condition when someone will need fresh blood as different circumstances. Overall aim of this project is to facilitate needy people and saves their lives.

Project Objectives

The main objective of Blood Bank Management System is as follows: -To provide blood services to needy people and advertise to gather blood from donors. -To allow the probable receipts to make search and match the volunteer donor, and make request to donate. -To provide an efficient method to manage donor and blood stock management functionality for nearly available hospitals. -To alert blood stock management staff when the quantity of blood stock is going to below and also expiration of donated blood. -To build a centralized system where from nearly hospitals can find the needed donor blood. -To provide deliverable service at nearly available hospital as emergency conditions.

Project Implementation Method

Overall project is divided into below sub categories: Login: Provide accessing and security features via username and password to newly registered donor and other staff members. Advertisement of blood donation event: provide this functionality allows the blood bank staff to publicize the blood donation events both physically and online as people will be aware of needy blood people. Donor Profile Registration: information will be gathered from blood donor, and will be updated once the blood group match. Finally, will be called to come at blood bank location to donate their blood to needy people. Blood Stack Management: Blood staff manage blood stock. Starting from blood collection, blood screening, processing , storage, transference and transfusion through this system. Whole process store into database and trace from database. It also provide alerts to blood stock staff whenever blood quantity goes to low. Donor / Receipt: it keeps the overall record of blood donor and receipt person and also provide their history to connected centralized hospitals. Reporting: this system is able to generate predefined reports such as list of donors, receipts, staffs, blood quantity in blood stock from the databases.

Benefits: This system will be beneficial to connect both blood donor and needy people at centralized place. Donor: person who wants to donate blood voluntary at the blood bank camps. Needy People: person who want to receive blood at emergency condition from a single centralized system without delaying and saves their lives. Blood Bank: provide facilities to their staff members and do mostly work voluntary for needy people.

This system is divided into several dashboard to facilities - -donor and needy people .Donor Dashboard: it contains the information of blood donor. Name, Blood Group, Address, Contac, Emergency Contact, Email address, Blood ID, Event ID Donation Program: an organized event database Organizer, Event ID, Data of Donation, Venue, Volunteers, Gathered Blood, Quantity Blood in Stock: Donor Blood ID, Donor Blood Group, collected Date, Expire Data Staff Dashboard: it contains the overall information of working staff. Staff ID, Staff Name, Username , Saved password
