Project Summary

In this project we are designing a smart medical assistant that is trained using artificial intelligence that can fullfill the need of a person who is sick or  not feeling well.Now a days in most of the super-markets and  malls there are vending machines,The idea of our project  is derived from that, to have a smart medical assistant at malls or super-markets to help people. The customer/user will be provided with a graphical user interface where he can interact with the system and the system can recommend precaution or a medicine (whatever needed)based on symptoms 

Project Objectives

• Revolutionizing medical help,
• A smart user friendly device capable of identifying patterns in patient symptoms to form a virtual diagnosis, prevent disease by recommending potential first aid action and/or Recommend an appropriate course of medication.
• In case of uncommon disease or potentially severe condition, it can take pictures(if necessary) and connect to a doctor for professional help or book appointments.
• The device could placed anywhere and people can Get it for ease to avoid going to hospitals

Project Implementation Method

•  To create an assistant which can understand and engaged in a conversation with the user
•  To create a database management system 
• To collect database according to requirement
• To use deep learning techniques and neural network to find solution of user input according to database provided
• To create an efficient, user friendly GUI 
• To make our system portable by connecting it to a hardware

Benefits of the Project

• in case of an emergecny it can directly send email or contact a specified/required person

In the present situation, people usually dont consider going to hospitals unless the condition is very severe, especially in Pakistan.
This AI aims to differentiate between alarming health situation over common conditions like sore throat.

• For a case of common condition, the AI will diagnose the symptoms and inform the basic medical care for it followed by the list of medicines for its cure. 
• For a case of an alarming situation, the user can contact doctors to book appointments or call for ambulance straightaway
• As the project's accuracy depends on the database. If in future, sponsored by a well reputed doctor who can provide a state of art database. The AI's accuracy will increase up to 99% from 70-80% and will be capable of helping out in any sort of medical illness

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Medical Assistant Deliverable includes:

1.  A stable machine capable to interacting with user's Medical situation.
2.  An executable computer software ready to be installed in any computer.
3.  Send emergency call for Ambulance
4. Hardware capable of writing prescription to patients and possibly supply very basic medicine
