Project Summary
Problem update is primarily a mobile based social application intended to solve problems related to the daily routes of problem like potholes, open manhole, debris and pile of garbages on road by collective efforts of users. It starts off when a user capture image of any issue and uploads it on our application, then our application with estimate the repair cost of that issue by using some AI based algorithm then the issue will be opened for funding and then people will funds for it. Our users can also get directions for any place from our application, our application will guide them a route avoiding all the issues.
Project Objectives
Our main objectives for this course are ;
1. implementation of AI based cost estimation service
2. Issue posting functionality means user can post issues in real time and view all issues posted by other users.
3. Alternative route guidance service implementation.
4. Deployment on cloud and releasing of application
Project Implementation Method
We are using xamarin android as our application platform which provides as the facility to do our application front end like the native android frontend i.e. xml and do the backed tasks in c#.
we are using ms sql server as our database and we have connected our application to database using entity framework 6 asp.net web API.
We have also used firbase cloud messaging api and google map api for push notification function and maping functioion respectively.
We will deploy our application web apis, services and database on google cloud platform and we will distribute our application (APK) via our social networks and other university required means.

Our project if integrated with the relative institution will have a great impact in society and will help people solve their daily route related problems using their collective efforts. people can also start beneficial project like planting compaign in their area.
