Advancement in biomedical signal processing techniques have led Electroencephalography (EEG) signal to be more widely used in the diagnosis of brain diseases and it the field on brain computer interface. The brain signal is also being used for home automation using Neuro sky headset, EMOTIV EPOC etc. In this project, EEG electrodes are used to capture the brain signal to be used for home automation.
Electrodes placed on sculp and ear will capture the signal then this signal will be amplified and filtered to get desirable signal for our project having frequency 0-100 Hz. Then logics gates used to operate our desirable function.
This project is focused on building an economical system of Home Automation system controlled by brain wave. With the change of thinking and eye movement the generated brain signal we will use to control our Appliances.
As about 15% of worlds population facing different kind of disability problem. This project can bring ease in their life.
we can controlled home appliances using this project without out any movement ,because it is working on your thougts and eye movement.
we use biopac student lab with NI module to acquire the EEG signal and process it on matlab and make model on simulink
we can be used a blutooth tarnsmitter and reciever system to transmit the data from brain to device to control by using microcontroler. it is wirless system that can be used in ay room to operate the fan, lamp or ac . we can be call the door bell.it is very helpful for paralysed and dissable people they are living alone at home after his guardian going to job.
